Checking out of Czech...for now!

Every corner we turned down was filled with history and beauty. We stayed two nights in Prague and I'm not sure that I've ever seen a more beautiful city. Bird and I rented bikes our sencond day and saw the whole city from banana seat (not really but that was fun to say). This is a pic our waiter took at a pizzaria. More to come! We have met up with our friends and we are currently in Poland in their apartment. It is so amazing. Tomorrow we take a 7 hour train to the Baltic Sea to the north of Poland for the weekend and then probably to Krakow. More to come! We will most likely spend a couple more days in the Czech Republic toward the end of our trip but we will be in Poland for the next 7 days or so.

Tonight Zurich Tomorrow Prague, Next Week Poland

We are up and dressed and by the time you read this today we will be on a bus for Madrid. Tonight we have a connecting flight to Zurich and then in the morning we will head off to Prague. We will stay in the Czech Republic for about 5 days and then our wonderful friends from DC Jess, and Mati will be meeting us there and the four of us will be taking a train from Prague to Poland. Mati is Polish and the two of them have a house in Poland and we will be spending the rest of our vacation with them checking out many of the sites in Poland including many of the WWII places.

We are not sure what our blogging will look like for the next two weeks but please check us out periodically because if we get a break, we will be blogging! Thanks again for all your love and prayers over the last six weeks. We have had a wonderful time and are so glad that many of you stayed up to date with us via the blog and other emails. Your encouragement has meant the world to us.

God bless, just a few errands to run around Salamanca and we are off to the bus station.

The People Have Voted!

Hey you guys, thanks for taking our poll. I sure was hoping that Bird would have to talk to the Spanish Police but it looks like you'd rather see me swimming around in the fountain. We thought for a while that you may be able to see both as a result of me in the fountain but all was well.
It was actually a wicked hot day and so it actually felt a nice taking a dip. The only people that saw me really were the make-out couples sitting close to the fountain for a romantic afternoon. I was glad to give them something to remember!

This was our last night in Salamanca and we were invited by Jesse and Sophie to come over and have Pizza Hut with them. It was wonderful. We had a great night with our new friends from the summer and could not have been more happy about our time here in Spain.

Thanks for all your love and support.
