Hola,
Madrid was great and we have finally made it to Salamanca. Before we left the capital though Bird had a chance to hang out with a long time friend from the states. Salamanca is absolutely beautiful. It is the perfect European city with fabulous architecture. The city is alive with thousands of students here to study Spanish. We met this morning with Jesse Bentley, the team leader of the mission. We talked for a couple hours about our goals and expectations for the summer and their vision for us. It looks like we are going to have a great summer full of ministry opportunities. Would you please pray for us to be creative in our ministry? Without knowing Spanish we are limited to the people we encounter. Pray that God would give us wisdom and boldness to be used inspite of our weaknesses.

I had to cry this morning when I opened this up and saw my baby sister pregnant and taking a picture with Bart. I am so glad you guys made it safely. I love you guys very much. Take care of those girls Gregg.

Hey- I know that Bird knows some spanish... no better way to be refreshed than emersion eh? No, joking aside- it is really tough (and often frustrating) when you are not fluent in the native language of those you are trying to minister to. We will be praying that the Lord's spirit will bridge this gap and give you opportunity to connect with the beautiful people of Spain.
May you learn from them and they from you.

Margaret, you look so beautiful pregnant! We are praying for you three daily. I know you all are bumbed that you didn't get to take the spanish class, but I am confident that God is going to use you for his kingdom while you are there.
