Comfortable in the arms of The Sims

Jason and Krista Sims were some of our best friends in New England. When they got married Krista had just moved up from Fairfax VA and Margaret and her were like a couple of Southern Peas in a pod. Jason and I went to Gordon-Conwell and church together. Last year they moved to Atlanta to explore the next season in their life and we have missed them greatly. They were the first couple we told we were pregnant and over Christmas, back in Fairfax, we were able to reunite. Kasaan loved being held by both of them and Bird and I cherished the moments we had together.

Awake or asleep Bird's family loved Kasaan to the last minute. We had a wonderful time back in Bird's home in Virginia. We saw our wonderful friends Jason and Krista Sims. If only we were able to spend more time with them. We miss you so much. We also got to see Brian and Brandi--we went to see 'My Fair Lady' at the Kennedy Center and loved every minute we were able to spend with them.

Kasaan sure took a liking to his family. Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Great-Grandpa's and Great-Grandma's every one got a chance to hug and squeeze our precious gift. Kasaan is growing in his 7th week on this earth. Every day he learns more and more. What a joy!



















Sorry Dad for the purple blanket. Its all we had in Virginia. Not very manly huh? It seemed like Ed (Bird's Dad) had the magic touch. He sure loves his family. What a trip. Kasaan did great.
